Courses - Autumn/ Winter 2021

Welcome to our courses page! We're excited to offer a wide range of courses this Autumn/ Winter 21/ 22. We will be continuing with zoom based courses blended with field trips, but there is the added bonus that courses are recorded and uploaded to a private YouTube so you will have access to the course material indefinately.

All courses are aimed at beginners, improvers or as a refresher for those experienced.  We offer lots of information around each species as well as the full identification features so you can take in the right level of information for you.  It is also an opportunity to meet like minded people and discover new places to enjoy.

Courses are delivered in a friendly and informal way with the chance to ask questions throughout. You will have the option to have video on or off to help you feel relaxed and comfortable.  We proudly share our extensive photo and video library and keep delivery lively and interesting, with discussion at the start &  finish.  See our TESTIMONIALS. We set up a WhatsApp group for each course so you can share your sightings/ questions and interact with others on the course, plus we share plenty of additional information, photos and articles too.

Speckled Wood Wildlife have 40 years experience in watching & observing wildlife, as well as over 20 years experience in teaching. We offer a high quality learning experience with the aim of promoting the awareness and enjoyment of the nature on your doorstep, your local area and further afield.
