Special Offer - To say thank you to our returning customers, we are offering FREE evening zoom sessions for any course (of the same or similar name as one they have completed in the past) if you sign up to attend the field trips that accompany this years course. This is a saving of between £30 and £50! So that means that if you attended Winter Wildfowl last year and you sign up to the 2 field trips that go with this course in January then you will be able to attend the evening zoom sessions for free! The prices stated below are the cost for the field trips only and the reduced price reflects the zoom sessions at no cost.
Terms and Conditions -

You must have completed a course with a similar name/ on the same subject area in the past. Please contact us if you are unsure.

We require a minimum of 2 new customers to sign up to the same course for the evening zoom element to run, so we reserve the right to only offer the field trips if this minimum number is not reached.

You will need to attend all of the field trips that accompany the course to benefit from the evening zoom sessions being totally free of charge. If you are only able to attend 1 or 2 of the field trips then please contact us for a revised (but still discounted) price.
Winter Wildfowl (Ducks, Swans, & Geese) - £98*
Starts 7pm Weds 18th Jan 23 - 3 weekly zoom sessions and 2 field trips - Field trips (run on Saturdays; 21st Jan, 4th Feb) to Slimbridge* & Somerset Levels respectively will give you first hand experience of many of these species. (*Please note entrance fee to Slimbridge is not included in the course price).

Starts 7pm Weds 8th Feb 23 - 5 weekly zoom sessions and 3 field trips The field trips (run on Saturdays; 25th Feb, 11th and 18th March) to Steart Marshes, Goldcliff and Slimbridge* respectively will give you first hand experience of many of these species. (*Please note entrance fee to Slimbridge is not included in the course price).

Spring Butterflies - £178*
Starts 7pm Weds 22nd March 23 - 4 weekly zoom sessions and 3 field trips - The field trips will give you first hand experience of many of these species by visiting the rich habitats of Ewylas Harold, Herefordshire on Sat 6th May for the stunning Pearl-bordered Fritillary and other common Spring butterflies, Merthyr Mawr, Bridgend on Sat 13th May for Grizzled and Dingy Skipper, Common Blue and Brown Argus and other species typical in May, and finally Rodborough Common, Stroud on Sat 20th May to look for Duke of Burgundy and Green Hairstreak, maybe early Adonis and Small Blue.

Early Summer Butterflies - £172*
Starts 7pm Weds 7th June 23 - 3 weekly zoom sessions and 3 field trips - The field trips will give you first hand experience of many of these species by visiting the rich habitats of Haugh Wood, Hereford (Sat 10th June) the best place to see Wood White, maybe a late Pearl-bordered Fritillary as well, then on Blaenserchan, Pontypool for Small Pearl-bordered Fritillary and other species. A visit to Exmoor (Sat 17th June) for Heath Fritillary and if we get time, Large Blue on the return journey, with finally a trip to Old Castle Down, Bridgend (Sat 24th June) for Wales' rarest High Brown Fritillary, along with Dark Green Fritillary and other smaller species such as Small Heath.
